Supervised Visitation

Supervised Parenting Time

Supervised visitation also known as supervised custody, or monitored visitation providers coordinate visitation between a parent and child held at a neutral location.  Our supervised visitation monitors are trained to intervene when necessary to ensure appropriate parent/child interactions.  Staggered pick-up and drop-off times are usually arranged so that the parents do not have to be in contact with one another. The actual exchange is monitored by specially trained staff who generally tries to ease the process for the child.  A monitored exchange means that the parents pre-arrange times at which the custodial parent/guardian brings the child to a neutral center.

A judge may order supervised visitation to a person who has been found by a court to have committed domestic violence, alcohol or substance abuse or any behavior that may place a child at risk. Each parent must complete our visitation questionnaire before visitation begins.

Our supervised visitation network of monitors provide services across the state of South Carolina and Coastal Georgia (Savannah area and surrounding counties).
